I advised on the search and acquisition of twelve ‘shop’ leases throughout London, on the following high street locations: Chelsea, St John’s Wood, Kensington, Notting Hill, Clapham between the Commons, Brook Green, Battersea, Earls Court, Shoreditch, Ealing, Canary Wharf and Primrose Hill. 

Having experienced typical frustrations of the normal agency network, the client turned to me to solve their specific needs.

I didn’t rely on the standard ‘market based’ method for a project of this type. I succeeded by creating a three stage approach. Firstly, I agreed a tight brief with the client. Secondly, we refined the options by assessing the planning opportunity and finally, I engaged directly and personally  with the relevant occupiers.

The project’s success was also largely due to my client, who was able to understand my advice and give quick clear instructions.  They also had a superb professional team, who acted swiftly to secure the deals in a very competitive market. In one instance, a lease was exchanged within one week of introducing the property.
